Dan has been married for 25 years and has 2 children; one still at home. He enjoys playing tennis, fishing and traveling. Dan is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a Florida Community Association Manager’s license, as well as a Florida Real Estate Broker’s license. |
Dan has been involved with shared ownership properties for over 25 years. He began his career with a large condominium developer in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1983 he accepted a position with the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes, where he worked for 3 years before moving to Orlando, Florida and returning to the private sector. From 1986 to 1996, Dan worked in a variety of management-level positions with Berkeley Resorts Management Corp. In 1998, he began work with a British joint venture company to launch a 650 unit vacation ownership resort in Orlando. Dan was recruited to join a Starwood Vacation Ownership’s legal department in 1998 and spent the next 10 years. During this time Dan served in several roles with responsibility for escrow and title relationships, preparing consumer purchase documents and escrow agreements, information security, loan financing and process improvement.
